Abstract

The conservative therapy for stress incontinence is pelvic floor exercises or drug treatment. Higher grade incontinence however can only be treated unsatisfactorily with conservative treatment methods. Therefore other methods are applied: the relatively new stem cell therapy aims at repairing the pelvic floor muscles.
