Abstract

MitraClip is designed to reduce mitral regurgitation. It is a clip that is implanted percutaneously to connect the mitral valves where they are not tightening.
Only clinical trail of 107 selected patients could be identified. Due to the sparse evidence we consider the procedure as experimental.
