Abstract

Selective Anti-ABO-IgG immunoadsorption is announced to enable kidney transplantation across ABO borders. Reviewing the literature showed about 100 suchlike treated cases. Beside promising results, the quality of the published evidence is very low and risk of flawed conclusions is high. Therefore no recommendation generally to refund this technology is possible.
